Each one names our in-room TV system incorrectly. Nothing else in them changes.
What is wrong. Three of our published Expedia replies call the TV casting system
"Sonicast." The correct name is StayCast, the name you confirmed. Sonicast is not a real
product, so a guest who reads one of those replies and looks it up finds nothing.
What changes. Only that one word, shown in green below. The rest of each reply stays
exactly as written.
The same fix is already done on Google. Four replies there were corrected. Expedia does
not allow this to be done automatically, so these three have to be updated by hand.
How to do it
Mark Yes or No under each reply.
For each Yes, click Copy this reply. If nothing seems to happen, click inside the
bordered box, press Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+C.
In Expedia Partner Central, open Reviews, find that guest, and edit the response.
Paste over what is there and save.
When you are done, click Download my answers at the bottom and email me the file.
If the download does not work, the answers will appear in a box you can copy into a reply.

Staff other than house keeping were rude. The place was clean but very outdated. The tv said it offered other apps but when you’d click it went old school snowy. The tv itself was one of the first thick flat screens you’d hang. Amenities were not great. Hotels app said it was a 8 min walk to some sites we wanted to see. It was a 25 min walk.
What our reply says now
Dear Tina, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found your room clean and that our housekeeping team provided a positive experience. We will be sure to share your kind comments with them. At the same time, we are disappointed to learn that your interactions with other team members did not meet your expectations. Providing courteous and professional service is a core standard at Hollywood Hotel, and we regret that you left with a different impression. We also apologize for any frustration regarding the television system. All guest rooms are equipped with Sonicast technology, which allows guests to stream content from their personal devices using our complimentary Wi-Fi. If the system was not functioning properly during your stay, we would have been happy to troubleshoot the issue or assist with setup. Hollywood Hotel is a historic property, and while we continually invest in upgrades and improvements, we understand that some guests may prefer the design and features of newer hotels. Your comments regarding the room amenities and furnishings have been noted and will be shared with our management team. Regarding walking distances to local attractions, those estimates are typically provided by third-party mapping services and booking platforms rather than the hotel itself. Actual walking times can vary depending on the specific destination, route selected, and individual pace. For guests wishing to explore Los Angeles without a car, the Metro subway station is located directly across the street from the hotel, providing convenient access to Hollywood, Downtown Los Angeles, Universal Studios, and many other destinations throughout the city. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Guest comments help us identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the experience for future visitors. Warm regards, Jeff Zarrinnam Hotel Director Hollywood Hotel

So I thought it was the best Hotel because it was close to the hospital for surgery at 530am. But there was metal plates in the road by the hotel that every car traveled over I heard it. I even turned up the TV Local channels suck!! I refused to log in for streaming!! Beds were hard.. I didnt have a restful night before my back surgery. So I would give 2 🌟
What our reply says now
Dear Shawnee, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your stay did not provide the quiet and restful evening you needed prior to your early morning surgery. We certainly understand how important a good night’s sleep is, especially before a medical procedure. Unfortunately, the metal road plates you referenced are related to ongoing City street work and are outside of the hotel’s control, but we completely understand how disruptive the noise can be for light sleepers in certain room locations facing the street. For future stays, we would encourage guests seeking maximum quiet to request a courtyard-facing room, as those rooms are generally much more insulated from street activity. We are also sorry the mattress comfort did not meet your expectations. Mattress preference can vary greatly from guest to guest, as some travelers prefer firmer orthopedic-style support while others prefer a softer feel. We do offer rooms with optional pillow-top mattress enhancements in certain room categories which some guests find more comfortable. Regarding the television programming, the Hollywood Hotel offers Sonicast in all guest rooms, allowing guests to cast any program worldwide onto the in-room TV using their own internet-enabled device via our free WiFi. Because of our diverse international clientele, offering every global channel in a static lineup isn’t feasible, and Sonicast ensures guests can access exactly what they want. We do appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving the guest experience. Most importantly, we sincerely hope your surgery went well and wish you a smooth and speedy recovery. Warm regards, Jeff Zarrinnam Hotel Director Hollywood Hotel

The room was old and "beat up." The TV did not work and after requesting someone to fix it three times, we gave up. And there were roaches. Breakfast was good but expensive as was everything here ($6 for a cup of coffee). Will never stay here again.
What our reply says now
Hi Maryann, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations, particularly regarding the condition of the room, the television issue, and your concerns about cleanliness. There is simply no excuse for repeated service requests not being resolved during your stay, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. Please know that we take comments regarding pests extremely seriously, and your feedback has been immediately shared with our housekeeping, engineering, and pest control teams for inspection and corrective action. We also regret that the room condition gave you the impression of being worn or “beat up.” While Hollywood Hotel embraces a classic Hollywood character, we fully recognize that ongoing refreshes and maintenance are essential to providing a comfortable guest experience. Regarding the television, all guestrooms are equipped with Sonicast technology, which allows guests to stream virtually any programming worldwide directly from their personal internet-enabled device using our complimentary Wi-Fi. Because of our diverse international clientele, maintaining every global channel in a traditional lineup is not practical, and Sonicast gives guests the flexibility to watch the exact content they prefer. That said, our team still should have responded more effectively to your requests for assistance, and we apologize for falling short. We would also like to clarify that our Route 66 Bistro serves freshly prepared, cooked-to-order breakfast items rather than a prepackaged buffet, and many guests appreciate the flexibility of paying only for what they choose to order rather than having inflated room rates that bundle breakfast costs for everyone. Freshly brewed drip coffee starts at $2.99, while specialty espresso beverages vary depending on selection and size. While we understand you may not wish to return, we do appreciate your comments as they help us identify areas requiring immediate attention and improvement. Warm regards, Jeff Zarrinnam Hotel Director Hollywood Hotel
